An activity that collects data... I was planning on doing a survey type thing where students have to go home and see if their parents recycle and what they recycle like returnables, paper, plastic, ect.
I did something similar... but not quite the same. I had the kids go home and count the number of paper, plastic, and glass recyclables. I did a math lesson. I'm sure this will count as different topics... right??
